One Child Only. Really.

by KittyCat on March 13, 2009

When my sister sent me the link to Red FM, I was ecstatic that I could listen to Malaysian news reports and popular English hits like Timbaland’s “Apologize” (my current fave), Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day” (so appropriate!), Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose”, good old Fleetwood Mac and yummylicious Enrique Iglesias…
Thank you, sis!

One, Two or Three?

by KittyCat on February 12, 2009

“Ni shi Han Guo ren?” (Are you a Korean?)
Now, I look at myself in the mirror and then I look at pretty pictures of Song Hye Kyo, the famous actress in [...]

Hiring household help in China

by KittyCat on January 3, 2008

Nobody from either side of my family has ever hired a maid. My Ahma (Chinese=maternal grandma) has 11 children and yet, she took care of them on her own, cooked and even helped my grandfather with the family business.
If I remember correctly, my late Grandma (paternal) was a housekeeper who helped out at several British houses because she [...]
