I don’t take nutritional supplements because I had to swallow pills for nearly 5 years for my thyroid problem.
Oh yes, imagine having to swallow 4 -5 pills x 3 times x 365 days x 4 years = 21,900 pills.
That’s how many pills I’ve had to swallow and that’s how much I HATE pills.
Recently, I read up about regaining your body’s original good health without the need to depend on prescription pills e.g. thyroxine and I was interested.
After all, I’ve been having all sorts of side effects with thyroxine that I am on a serious diet to get off of them permanently.
This special diet involves eating enough healthy and natural foods and nutritional supplements that our bodies need to function well.
It took me quite a while to get all the required supplements – I’m only short of Thiamine (B1) but I hope that I can get it soon.
I am quite pleased with this diet because I can feel myself getting healthier. Plus, I am also on the “Real Food Challenge“, which helps us remove processed foods from our diet and turn back to traditional, wholesome foods.
Now, I feel like celebrating and nothing brightens me up more than fresh flowers.
In fact, my son mentioned that we should buy ourselves some flowers when he saw them on sale. I asked him why, he said,
“Because they are so beautiful!”
