If you ever visited me, you’ll see how pathetic our apartment is because we don’t even have a coffee table.
You see, the original one was entirely made of glass, which was interestingly, broken by the previous tenant’s wife and replaced by the loving husband in atonement for his sins
I wondered why he didn’t go for a wooden coffee table instead?
Or even one with drawers or a removable top that you could uncover to store books and magazines? After all, he was a teacher just like me…
Now that both the kids will attend school and I will be their personal tutor, I think it’s high time we got a coffee table.
I hope that we can find some rustic coffee tables that would add a bit of character to our dreary living room ![]()

I don’t have a coffee table at home too – wanted to keep the living room more spacious for the girls to move about, and to have the mattress for their naps.
A Mom’s Diary – We only have a 4-seater dining table, which is actually my work space. The kids’ room is a store room, which means that we spend our time in the living room the most.
In the end, we got a coffee table for the kids to do homework and for us to have dinner with the little people. You will definitely laugh to see how our “life” is over here
