The mainland Chinese love leather jackets.
Seriously, almost every man will wear a leather jacket during the autumn, spring and winter months and it’s almost always a black jacket.
Not many Chinese women wear black leather jackets though because they feel that it’s rather masculine. After all, who’d want to blend in a crowd of black leather jackets, right? LOL
From what I’ve observed, none of my students wear leather jackets either probably because they are slowly becoming more conscious of the animal rights movement.
I feel a glimmer of hope for China whenever I hear of passionate, young people talking about a bright new future for their beloved country. Like any other young person, they love their country too. After all, it’s the only country they’ve ever known.
