For once in my life, I have lost my appetite. For the past three nights, I have only been drinking bowls of soup and eating a bit of noodles or soft buns and eating lots of fruit.
Our son fell sick first and I stayed up the past few nights to monitor his fever, give him water and basically attend to a whiny kid. The lack of sleep plus going to work must have taken a toll on my body and its immune system.
I have been sleeping all day the past two days. Thankfully, the ayi can help to see one kid to school. In the evenings, I lie down while the two of them prance around.
Unfortunately, the toddler fell sick yesterday and has also been feeling listless. We have been feeding her apples, dragon fruit and pears and water because she HATES paracetamol. She spat it out when she tasted just a bit of it. Luckily, she took Nurofen (ibuprofen) and her fever went down. Phew!
Today, Hubby came back for lunch with some Japanese udon and sushi. We were so happy ![]()
