I am tired. I am busy. I need a vacation.
I had to shop for kids’ shoes. I try to look for factory overruns since imported brands are expensive, cheap local Chinese brands don’t
last long while the better quality ones were ridiculously expensive. However, factory overstocks are getting harder and harder to
come by. Or, they are fake! In the end, I had to get him a local branded one (RMB99), which is showing signs of wear and tear already.
I had to look for a backpack. The boy wanted a backpack with wheels but the ones available seemed to be made for primary school kids, which were huge. After checking out 4-5 school bag shops, I decided to buy a kid-sized backpack without wheels since he could carry it easily.
I went back to work. Since I can’t talk too much about my work, all I can say is this: China reported more than 6 million graduates in 2011. Get the picture?
Then, the kids fell sick. I was worried that they would be affected by the freezing, rainy days but the Hubs and I filled them with lots of fruits, veggies, vitamin C and water that they held up well.
Until, of course, our insensible ayi came in with the worst cough ever.
She refused to admit she had a cough. She ignored my requests NOT to kiss or hug them.
hug or I had sleepless nights. Kids wake up at night crying, coughing and vomiting. -_-
I need a spring break or better yet, a summer vacation where I can relax by the beach on some teak Adirondack chairs. Mmm…
