Recently, we celebrated the Hubby’s birthday.
Since it was a working day and both kids were at home, I couldn’t cook him a special birthday lunch or dinner.
To make up for it, I text-ed him a message saying that I’d treat him to a nice dinner when we’re back home.
Guess what he replied?
“I look forward to a nice dinner date without the kids.”
Wow! I didn’t expect that at all.
He’s a great father because he always plans our holidays with the kids in the picture and never once did he think of leaving them at home with his parents or mine. Then again, we don’t really have that option as I doubt they would accept both of us being away from them.
ANYWAY, I hope that one of my sibs will find the kids cute enough to want to spend a day with them. Then, Hubby and I can go on our first dinner date in 6 years!!!
Hey, if Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes can go out for a dinner and a dance, we can too, right? Like them, I don’t think we’d be able to stay away from them too long LOL
I can’t wait for that date especially as I’ll have the chance to shop for a plus size formal dress.
Don’t you think this is the perfect dress for dancing the night away?

wow.. that’s a sexy and lovely dress … be careful … no 3 will be on the way … wink wink …
Hubs will not feel right to leave kids with babysitters/strangers and MIL is not up to it at the moment, so no pak toh date for us for the time being .. just have to wait for another couple of years for the young one to grow up a bit lo …
his text reply is so nice
hope you all had a nice time!:)
CL – Hahaha, don’t worry about No. 3
We’re both in the same boat here that’s why we can’t wait till we go home. Then again, Hubby is also the type who can’t leave them at home for too long LOL
mom2ashleyaidan – I was quite surprised really. Btw, we’ve not had the date yet LOL
